CASE IN POINT
More on Sports: Including YouTube Footage So Don't Hide Behind Your Bloglines
This is sorta what I'm talking about above. No free throws, no running back and forth on the court and getting tired, no fans doing stupid stuff like cheering or drinking, just one awesome guy putting the ball inside the net using the most circuitous way possible. The stats stuff is all really insulting to me, honestly, when you have players who are doing what Vince Carter does. How many "three-pointers" is a slam dunk really worth?
Another advantage of this new kind of basketball, which rewards grace before wins, the color of your sneakers before the number of air pockets it has, is that you get to watch the chubby white camera guy run behind Vince Carter, trying to get a piece of his dunk. I bet that guy wonders why nobody's using his footage.
